Transition, transition...

Family.....

Beautiful, hand-painted roof at the Russian Tea House, Boulder, CO.

Little princesa...

My life seems to be full of transition right now. Within that, the possibility of moving to Colorado. Yes. Beautiful mountains, endless green. And I'm a bit excited about it. Especially in the fact that we may be moving to Boulder. And what a grand thing that would be.

I just returned from an interview weekend at Naropa University...yes, I have applied to yet another program. MA in Somatic Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Dance/Movement Therapy. I have thought about Dance Therapy for quite some time and that was the original reason why I moved to Chicago, but lo and behold, I got carried away with my wee life...my cousin can atest to that. I get a deep satistfied feeling thinking about becoming a psychotherapist, but the fact that I can use movement and dance in helping others beyond the typical "dance teacher" job, well, I'm pretty ecstatic about it.

Let's see...it was a good interview. Long. Really long. Part of a group interview with 8 other prospects and then a personal interview. I think I did well. Really well. But you know how when you're under a bit of pressure and you're sweatin' and a bit nervous, well, that was me. I was pretty emotional about it all. Just stepping foot on the campus was moving to me. There's something about that place and I just pray that Divine guidance and love wants me there. Those photos up there are with my in-laws..in celebration of my final day of interviewing and my new beginnings with them. I went by my loneseome to CO and they took care of me...yes, they did.

In other news....
See that photo up there, of my wee niece? Well, I crocheted that dress. Yes. A vintage pattern from 1974...came from my Grandma's magazine and I think it looks fabulous on her. Don't you?
